I couldn’t get conn to repair floors that they Damaged during delivery

They damage my wooden floors during delivery. I was told by the delivery driver that in 30 days they would contact me and repair the damage flooring that was May 2020.

No one contacted me until I called in November to follow up with a stop payment on the account that got no results. So I decided to stop payment due to the fact no one would contact me give me any information about the repairs to the wooden floors in January 2021 I stopped making payments so someone would contact me so I could get my floor repaired. Do to my account was so far ahead that day just let the overpayment amount and distribute it over span of five months so I was in late and a year later I finally got my floor repaired by Conn and thats why my account was late and wasnt paid.

I am a disabled veteran does serve my country for over 20 years. My ability to move around is limited, but because I was unable to I was taken advantage of because I was trying to get some assistant to the damage that the delivery team done, but no one from Conn contacted me until I stop paying

Someone opened an acct under my social but not my name. I had no knowledge of this until it showed up on my credit report. I filed fraud on the acct 4x and they still haven't fixed it and it's been months!

Bad Business practices

Late fees start a 10 days. I've never been 10 days late, that would completely *** my cash option, yet somehow I keep getting calls saying I owe $36+ change. None of my monthly payments on the 2 seperate accounts are less than $100, so I'm flabbergasted to know where...

Excellent service and very knowledgeable employees. Understanding and experienced, questions answered immediately.

There was never any doubt or wonder when I asked about a difference in products, immediate knowledge was there.
The real problems started when corporate Conns got involved. Walking out the door I had a clear understanding of my cash option and minimum monthly payments. Conns corporate has now split my account into 2 seperate accounts with higher than quoted prices. Now my cash option is unclear and never actually provided through any part of the system.

I'm left to guess what the cash option prices per month are now as well as paying 2 seperate payments on different days of the month.
The store and employees are awesome as stated above.
The company is however not on the legitimate side of good business practices. My suggestion would be to steer clear of Conns as a company

Conn's allow my husband to sign my signature without me being present or Conn's calling me to ask if he could act on my behalf. Took out items without my approval and his name not on the contract.

They are scammers and will rip you off

They will scam you if you do their no interest financing

1 their online payment system is a joke and will revert your fields the minute you click out of it but then conns will deny it and blame you!

2 they will hold your payment but send you emails your payment is scheduled & then posted (it will be pending in your bank but not actually taken out so the funds get release back to your account if you dont pay attention until they finally actually decide to take it out) but fail to take it out of your until account for a week to weeks AFTER the due date (no matter when you schedule it to come out) because they have a 10 day grace period so they can scam you into charging you interest.. they will take the payment out without fail on the 11th day AFTER due date (so if ANYTHING happens) you dont have time to fix it (again their payment system reverts the fields when you click out of them!

So likely you will have something wrong especially if you take out of more than one account like its programmed to change it to facilitate their scam) I recorded my whole online scheduling of the payment so that is the ONLY way I found out after a few months of CONNs customer service basically saying it was my fault and my errors!

3. will not answer questions or take responsibility for their failure as a company! Will not fix THEIR errors! They blamed my bank for payment not going through but my bank never had records of it being sent over!

4 charged me interest during a no interest period to which they charged me over $25.00 in interestin 4 days!!

Thats like a 70% APR by the way! But you wont notice it because their system wont give update or accurate information and it wont show you a breakdown just a total (again IF their site decides a its going to not glitch or fail to work that day)!

5 only company Ive ever had to harass EVER to TAKE my pay off payment and ensure the money was removed from my account to stop the madness of their scams and insane interest charges!

6 I filed a complaint with the BBB and received scripted and False/inaccurate or incomplete replies from them along with failure to even address my issues!

Just run the other way seriously beware!

Conn's mobile al. Assistant manager George Morris refuses to refund 170.00 for a gas range installation that was canceled 7 days before schedule. I purchased the gas range on Nov 21st installation 12/

Don't Do it

This place has nice furniture,they will try to keep going up on your payments and when you question your account they will only send you a email of your payments hopping you forget about it...Then charge you extra for making early payments...they will still charge you every month even if your payments are paid up for 6 months...83.00 for 1 late payment day...93.00 per month for even if you pay early anything they can add if they can get away with it...they don't want you to pay of early They really love up to their name Conns

Account and interest has been paid up for 6 months and they continue to and daily interest rates for already paid interest so even though everything has been paid the interest continue to accumulate on the account... confirmation numbers for payments made have no value.this company will tell you they didn't receive payment...
