I paid off and overpaid my bill on 05 July 2024. I was told by the store manager that I would receive a check in the mail for the over payment amount which is roughly $140.00.
As of today, 17 September I am still waiting on my refund. Calling their customer service line is a JOKE! Sadly these agents are being paid crap because they are in a Third World country and greedy companies like Conn's like to "save" money to pay their executives RIDICULOUS salaries. Oh, but the CEO, Norman L.
Miller, "Norm" is set to make with bonuses 5.4 MILLION DOLLARS this year. Let that sink in!!! However, they can not get me my money the OWE ME! Something needs to be done to help people like me and others on this site.
This CEO needs to dig into his bonus and pay what the cooperation he runs owes US! If there was any business that "resembles" the word "FUBAR" it is CONNS!!!

On July 19, 2024, I made a double payment to my account. One payment was for 250.00 and the other was for 499.53.
When I was balancing my bank account on July 24, I noticed my error. I immediately called the company and explained to them what had occurred. The customer service agent was receptive and told me that my refund would be credited to my account. Fast forward to August 23, one month and five (5) phone calls later, I still have not received my refund.
When I call customer service, I keep getting the same story as if they are reading a script. 'I'm so sorry this has happened and I will put a note on this account to expedite the process. We will send you an email confirming when your refund is debited to your account.' I explained to the agent that I have not received an email or refund. I informed them that I have received emails explaining they are going out of business and an email about my payment has posted as I'm still paying them as I should.
I just don't understand why I can't get my money. Please help me as that 500 was meant for my other bills.

I was late on a payment. They asked if they could charge my card, and I clearly told them NO. However, they still went ahead and charged my card without my permission. Secondly, they made an agreement stating that if I chose to let them retain the charge and not demand a refund, they would remove the negative 30-day mark. I agreed, but days later, they did not remove the mark. When I questioned them, they said they could not remove it even after making an agreement and assuring me they could.
Consequently, I reported them to BBB because they refused to refund me as originally agreed. They became enraged because I reported them to BBB and retaliated by adding another negative mark on my account. The person I was corresponding with made it clear it was due to my BBB comments (attachments below).
This behavior is unethical, and they violated our agreement. They stole money from me, which constitutes a breach of contract. I sent them a letter of termination, which they confirmed they received. Despite this, they continue to report me to credit bureaus. When I call, they just lie and bounce me back and forth between departments. This business is unethical, and I will never do business with them nor will they see another dime from me.

My name is Josh Settersten, and I'm the mortgage loan officer helping Kimberly purchase her new home. She was supposed to close on her new home today, but with this late payment reflected on her credit, she is not approved and cannot close on her new home. This is the single item preventing her from moving into her new home and causing her to be temporarily homeless. We spoke with Nasir, one of the supervisors, on Monday this week and he told us this late payment would be getting removed since it was not Kimberly's fault.
You mentioned that you cannot approve a one-time goodwill credit mark removal because she had a previous late payment. The other late payment was from 11/2021, about 3 years ago. The issue we are having with this and the reason why it should be removed is because she had auto payment set up on this loan and it was paid on time for 3 years. An error in the system caused her auto-payment to not go through and Conn's HomePlus never alerted her that a payment was missed. She didn't receive any notifications that the auto-payment was not processed, and it was completely out of her control. It is not her fault that a late payment occurred and Conn's HomePlus is currently preventing her from closing on her new home. By the time she found out the payment wasn't processed, she made the payment right away and now she will be paying off the account in full. To make this right, your team needs to make a goodwill credit mark removal for her because it was not her fault. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to make sure this is processed right away. Please escalate to your highest member in management and please respond or call us as soon as possible.

I bought a washer and dryer from Conns in Tulsa Ok on July 31,2023 I also bought the extended warranty mind you it has not even been a year and my washer and dryer is completely paid for. In June of 24 my dryer stopped getting hot and drying my clothes I called the store and they said the soonest they could get a repair man out to my house was July 19.
I said that is unacceptable that would put me without a dryer for over a month. They finally said someone would be there on July 5th Service man came could not find out what was wrong with it so he said he was ordering 3 parts didn't know which part it was but was going to order all 3 and would be back on the 12th. 2 of those parts was delivered 2 days later so on the 11th i get a call saying the 3rd part still has not come in and now it will be the 19th before he will be back. So one the 18th I get a call that the part is on back order and they have no idea when it will be in so I still do not have a dryer.
I have called every number i can find. These are the rudest people i have ever delt with no one will even try to help me mind you if i owed a payment they would not wait a month for that. I still have a factory warranty until the 31 of July and the extended warranty is good until 2027. I ask can the repair man come and install the 2 parts that are in and see if that will fix it if not he can come back with the other part.
Oh no that cant happen we have to wait on the 3rd part
this has been a nightmare I paid over 4000 for this set and it is useless until they can get around to fixing it. I promise you i will never step foot back in that store and will tell everyone i know to never by form Conns they are rude and very unprofessional and do not give a *** about their customers all the say is i understand the *** you do i have 5 people in my house and a non working brand new 2000 dryer.
This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I have to add a star rating before i can post this but honestly they don't even deserve a 1 star

I was told it would take 21 days for a pay off letter, but it's already been 21 days already since the final payment. And because it's paid off it doesn't allow me access to the payment portal to show I owe nothing
They are saying I didn’t pay my bill when everything is up to date I can’t understand them with the Accent they have.
I would like to talk to somebody without an accent next time cause I cannot understand them. Theyre saying I didnt pay my bill when I paid it.
I keep getting put through with multiple people. Nobody is fully from here or speak English, where you can understand so everybody has an attitude and me included at this point. Im bout to get a lawyer. Yall do to much.
I would not recommend this to anybody.
Customer service sucks. Make it away where we can see the email on your website or send the email to us through our email where we can send proof that we paid it because Im telling it to us over the phone is not helping us when you can barely understand what theyre saying.

Bought 4 stools and was to deliver the next day by 3pm - 6pm.At 6:30 I called to track my stuff,I was told that they don't have it in the warehouse. Unless I wait till 30th of August.
And I cannot get my refund till now.the sales lady and rest of the the people I spoke with was very very unprofessional.
One told me I am not the sales person please call back later.one told I heard about it but I can't help you call back by 1pm. I am still fighting for my refund.

Conns got mad at my last review on here. And decided to call threaten me and insult me over the phone all recorded.
Even the legal team was throwing insults and playing victim only cared to try to get my social media file. Because I'm going public with videos and all information they threatened life my credit and more these guys are unethical ALL OF THEM ALL OF THEM WAS INSULTING ME RON IS ONE IF THEIR NAME.DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THEM WILL RUIN CREDIT IN RETALIATION. IM REPORTING TO ALL FINANCE DEPARTNENTS NON STOP.
THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES LIARS AND SCAMMERS. I'm compressing videos and posting them all ok here and social media I have 6 vids and up of them non stop insulting me and threatening

I called conns home plus in Antioch Tn about a wall oven which was on their website for 2999.99 the person I spoke with Freda a salesperson explained there was a floor model available, and I could get a discount if I came in as it was a floor model with no box. I drove 45 minutes to the store and there was a unit there was blk not stainless which would be fine.
Furthermore, I was told the unit was 3199.00 which was higher than the new unit online which I knew I could get 10 percent off as it pops up when you are on their website. She said she needed to speak with the manger and would be back. Upon returning to me, she asked if I was going to purchase the warranty with the stove, I explained I had a contract with sears which covers everything in my home, and I did not need it. She told me the manger would not give me a discount unless I got this warranty which is about 600.00!!!
I was shocked and walked up to the counter to speak with the manger, I asked hey can I talk to you about the oven, he flat out said no.
I said if your busy I can wait and his response was no, he was angry and hostile with his demeanor and said no I'm not speaking with you period. I have never had this level of customer service and this manger should be fired for using deceptive sales tactics let alone his attitude towards a repeat customer

On Monday November 20, i tried to arrange for another date for installation. I was on the phone for 3 hrs, talked to 5 different people was told someone would call me back. I never received a call. I arranged for a private company to install it.
It took him an hour to do the job, the day before Thanksgiving. I paid for Conn's to install and dispose of the old oven. Since i had to pay a private company to do the job i had contracted with Conn's, I feel I should get my $180.00 back. The microwave didn't come installation instructions or an owners manual so the installer had to improvise.
Love the oven itself.
The customer service on your internet sales side really needs improvement. A person shouldn't have to talk with more than one person to accomplish what the customer needs.

Thank you for telling me over the phone that my item WAS in stock only for me to wait around for a week to get a tracking number, blow and behold, I never got a tracking number because the item was NOT in stock! Thank you for the miscommunication.
Now I wait for a refund for a very expensive item. I will have to do a charge back with my bank if the refund isn't processed. As usual with big business, they outsource to people you have a hard time understanding, and they also put you on 2 minute wait time over the phone.
Absolute aggravation. Drop-shipping isn't good for business, it's set up for failure.

I have spoke to several people trying to have this account removed off of my report. I do not have any merchanise that belongs to Conn's nor do I have any intension of during business with you all again because I am an dissatified customer.
I would told 4 years ago that this would not appear on my report and it did. I was told that I would not be responsible for nothing else but that did not happen either. I have spoke to your supervisor in collections and customer service and nothing is being done to remove this.
I understand that I am one person out of a million but I need this removed from my report like it was promised that it would be done. Nothing is being done except for people lying to the consumer

Sofa broke after couple months tech came out ordered parts in June tech came back in October to install parts he couldn't finish job he said due to the motor wasn't sent and he was out of time this is horrible service parts still siting in box
Products not reliable
My unit broke immediately after warranty and now they say its $99 to have a tech just come out! Dont buy from here.
