Bought a samsung washer from them a month ago. Washer stopped working, then called samsung and they advised me to contact a local eletronic company for repair.
After contacting them and three attempts at repairing the washer and being unsuccessful. I went up to Conns and asked for a replacement washer and the salesman said we can not do that in the store because that is above the salesmans authority..I then said get me someone with authority to make the decision...The salesman then said I suggest you contact the manufacturer which I already had with no help so far.
Buyer Be Ware!!!! Conns promises the world when buying but when it comes to a problem with the item plan on dealing with the manufacturer instead of Conns

"Conn's" that exactly what they are ***'s
I purchased a Samsung Curved TV on October 2014 as a Birthday present to myself. Made the purchase also got some warranties, and brought the TV home.
I have enjoyed the great picture quality for seven months also making my payments for seven months on time. With a one year finance program that Conn's was offering 0 % interest plus building my fiancee credit was no brainer. With the idea of helping my fiance build up her credit. We both decided to just run our credit and finance the TV instead of buying it cash.
Continued to make my payments with good faith only to come to find out that she was getting any credit for the vehicle, so they just ran her credit for no reason that also cause her to get a hard inquiry on FICA score. We let that one slide then at very last payment that should of been a balance of $250, came out to $301 and some change. I was dumbfounded with the fact that my balance went up $50 dollars. I asked the clerk why my balance went up if i have 0% interest??
He replied that there is some coverage that protects my property form theft or loss. Which I never agreed with nor was I disclose that there would be such a charge. Then I asked to speak to a manager that could answer my questions why is there a coverage on my property when I've finance furniture and TV's in the past and haven't seen any fees like this in the past purchases? He replied "anything over $3,000 has to be covered like a vehicle needs to have some insurance in order to take the vehicle out of the lot.
I replied "I'm not driving my TV on the highway and besides a Dealership gives you the option to get coverage not just put it on the deal with out the client being aware of it'' what if they already have coverage they'd be paying for two things that covers one item, thing, property, etc." That make's no sense! He "Jesse Salazar" apparently rookie store manager from the Conn's location on N.W loop 410 and Evers in San Antonio TX, who was trying to belittle me and was speaking to me in a diminutive matter as if he was better than me. I asked him to *** the fee or wave them. He said he need to see my renters insurance or homeowners insurance in order for them to pro-rate the fee with in 7 day's.
I was furious especially after he told me i should read my contract before signing it. I replied "We could only read so much when you have a manager rushing us because it was closing time". The sale associate should warned me that if I don't present home or renters insurance i would be charge a fee, i would of giving him a copy right there and then to avoid this problem. Not just bamboozle me into just buying the TV asap.
I asked to speak with someone in corporate, he points at a phone then with smirk tells me they are closed. Then I was just to the point of no return. I demanded something to be done. I refuse to pay that fee and just want to pay off the balance i should have.
So may never step foot into a Conn's ever again. He just patronize me, even one of the associate working there threaten me. By saying he would take me outside. As if he could actually lay his hands on me.
Before I left told him this isn't the way you should treat paying customers who pay there salary. Then he threaten to call the police. Told him not to threaten me with idle threats. I feel this is unjust and felt degraded.
I will never shop at Conn's again and would never recommend friends, family or enemies.
To shop there worst experience ever. MP

I have had good experiences in the past .We have made several purchasers from the plano conns store
But this most recent purchase has tested my patience. WE BOUGHT a 2500 $ dollar sectional that has a broken recliner .They sent a repair guy who replaced some parts but did not fix it .So he recommended the couch be replaced .After several attempts to contact them about this there is still no resolve .I am not sure I will ever make another purchase from conns after this .
